African Women Council is a non-profit organization created in 2002 to encourage, enable and empower African women locally and internationally to improve their lives and build a better future for themselves and their families.
The mission of African Women Council, Incorporated is to build strong communities by providing African women access to literacy, health education, civic participation, and entrepreneurship programs; To create a better future for themselves and their families, locally and in Africa; particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
