The Coalition for Justice and Accountability is a Washington D.C. area grassroots organization formed out of concern for developments in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq, and for the continued allocation of U.S. funds for warfare and aggression.
CJA's activities include raising awareness of these issues through teach-ins and creative actions like the (Not So) White House Cluster Bomb Egg Hunt in April 2007, direct actions including civil disobedience at the U.S. State Department during Israel's July 2006 attack on Lebanon & disrupting an August 2006 Capitol Hill briefing by Israeli war criminal Moshe Ya'alon, holding media accountable by raising questions and leafletting at the National Press Club, and finally traditional protests such as the huge funeral march that CJA spearheaded in July 2006 for the victims of the incursions into Lebanon and Gaza.
