Committee of Indigenous Solidarity (CIS) is a Washington, D.C. based activist group committed to the ongoing struggles of Indigenous peoples in the Americas.  At the behest of Zapatistas, unlike traditional "solidarity" organizations in the past, we seek to provide
support for their struggle in a grassroots, bi-directional manner and by working to build Zapatismo right here in our own city and neighborhoods. CIS is actively supporting the Zapatista struggle for Indigenous rights and combating related structures of oppression within our own communities.
