The Emergence Community Arts Collective integrates traditional arts, education and social ser-vices in a community space. Our programs include classes in Capoeira-Angola, Afro-Cuban Dance, Tai Chi; social activities such as movies and games night, support groups, poetry and other activities. We are located near Howard University, across the street from Banneker HS in a formerly abandoned, historically significant building at 733 Euclid St. NW. Rental space is available for workshops and classes
