Greater DC Cares connects community assets – skills, time, energy and goods – with community needs in ways that improve lives and strengthen our region. Our service groups provide hundreds of local nonprofits with volunteer resources and tools to increase their impact and offer a wide range of volunteer and service-learning opportunities to effectively educate, empower, and engage, an increased number of volunteers. Work with more than 300 local businesses to use corporate philanthropy strategically and view volunteerism programs as a way to meet their goals. Build relationships and develop partnerships across sectors and communities that make this region a better place to live and work.
