Latin American Folk Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promote, study, and develop the art, music and folklore traditions of Latin America and the Caribbean.
LAFI is the largest membership institution in the Washington, D.C. area that serves individuals and institutions engaged in the study of Latin American art and culture. With over 1,500 members and new headquarters in Mt. Rainier, Maryland, LAFI is now in the position to offer new programs and services in the form of music and dance workshops, classes, concerts and festival production.
