The Muslim Alliance of North America (MANA) is a national organization under the leadership of Imam Siraj Wahhaj (Brooklyn, NY) established two years ago to represent the interests of indigenous Muslims in the United States.
MANA supports progressive causes such as the anti-war coalition, reparations, defense of civil liberties, etc. Local MANA representatives include Imam Johari Abdul-Malik (Howard University); Imam Abdulalim Musa (Masjid Al-Islam – Wash, D.C.); Altaf Hussain (President, Muslim Student Association); and Hodari Abdul Ali (Imam Jalil Action Network).
