We mobilize for action--to achieve peace with justice.
Our current work includes organizing grassroots support in Maryland for dramatically cutting the Federal military budget and funding community priorities (see our special Web site for this campaign at www.OurFunds.org). We are also working to end the occupation of Afghanistan, bring all troops and contractors home from Iraq, and end U.S. support for the illegal occupation of Palestine.
Our tactics include on-the-streets-activism, educational events for the public, informing citizens about their electoral choices by highlighting candidates' stances on issues relating to peace, and pressuring our elected officials to vote against war and for policies to make our world a safer, more peaceful place.
We are an all-volunteer organization
