Josephine Butler Nuclear Free Future Award

The 2009 Josephine Butler Nuclear-Free Future Award will be presented to veteran Peace and Justice activist Acie Byrd. The ceremony will take place Thursday, July 16, 2009, 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Josephine Butler Parks Center, 2437 Fifteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009(Columbia Heights Metro). Acie will be introduced by Joan Drake and Rick & Michele Tingling-Clemmons will share their reflections about the impact that Jo Butler had on the community and the movement for Justice & Peace.
