SAALT invites all D.C., Maryland, and Virginia residents to attend the first in a series of national community town halls in 2017. The recent spike in hate violence aimed at South Asian, Muslim, and Sikh communities is part of a dangerous trend electrified by the 2016 election cycle and now the current administration. Come listen to community leaders discuss the latest executive orders on immigration, the impact of these on communities, local organizing efforts to support our communities, and participate in a know your rights training. SAALT promises a rich discussion and food!
