WHO:   Agencies, wage and hour representatives, community organizers, staff of civil and workers’ rights organizations, clergy, teachers, attorneys and anyone who works with the low wage worker community.
WHAT: This forum seeks to educate workers and community agencies about worker’s rights as related to wage theft and share recommendations with the wage and hour offices in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. on how to better serve low- wage workers. There will be workers’ testimonials, educational panel on worker’s rights, and an overview of different wage recovery offices and methods in the region.
