Protest anti-trans speakers at the Fairfax County School Board. Bring pink 8 1/2 x 11 signs that clearly say "LGBTQ", "Trans" or "Transgender" students. Protestors are holding up signs and wearing supportive buttons and stickers in protest to the amazingly anti-Trans speakers who have been coming to the board meetings.
In context, here is what School Board member Elizabeth Schultz (the impetus behind the speakers) said at a Family Research Council program at which she headlined on Friday 5-5-17:
“Certainly that comes to pass. If you were a biological male and you’re identifying as a female and you’re allowed access into the locker room and you’re aroused, is that sexual harassment? Now an actual aroused male in a girls’ locker room isn’t sexual harassment. It sounds funny but it’s not.”
Save the date for a much larger turn-out in support of kids on May 25, when there will be speakers about inclusive Family Life Education.
