U.S.-based Family members are hosting their National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C., on February 4 that will be attended by many of these high-ranking Ugandan officials supporting the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. Full Equality Now DC demands that no U.S. elected official, including President Obama, attend this event. In response to mounting international pressure, The Family recently disinvited David Bahati, and this pressure must not cease.
As an alternative to The Family's National Prayer Breakfast on February 4, faith communities throughout the U.S. are leading concurrent American Prayer Hours, including the District of Columbia, Dallas, Boston, Chicago, and Berkeley, California.
