BLACK AMERICA SAVES HOLDS THE STATE OF BLACK AMERICA: SAVING AND BUILDING WEALTH ADDRESS AND FORUM TUESDAY. FEBRUARY 23rd IN THE NATION'S CAPITOL

Some of the most influential thinkers, political pundits, corporate heads, educators, religious leaders and entertainers, will gather on Howard University's campus for the State of Black America's (BAS) Address on Saving and Building Wealth during Black History Month. This unique national financial literacy address will include a formal presentation, and a critical, intense and much needed forum on building wealth. The goals for the address are simple, but bold: to raise awareness of the importance of financially strong communities, to promote greater participation in saving and wealth building and, by doing so, to strengthen not only the African American community but America! BAS State of Black America: Saving and Building Wealth will examine hard-hitting truths about the issue of saving and wealth building. It will also address how educators, politicians, corporations, religious leaders, entertainers, sports figures and finally, American citizens can influence wealth building behavioral changes among African Americans.
