The Backpack Monologues is a theatrical performance that empowers young women to promote social change in their communities while addressing sexual and social issues that impact girls and women everywhere. The premiere performance will be held at Covenant Baptist Church on March 27 at 3:00pm.

The cast is made up of young women from the Generation to Generation Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project, a program of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

Proceeds from the production will go the Generation to Generation Project, which helps to prevent teen pregnancy in Washington, DC's Ward 8, which has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the District of Columbia. Donation are 100% tax deductible.

The performance is suitable for female and male audiences ages 12 and up.
