Saturday February 27th from 3-5pm: Cold Frame Workshop

This workshop will provide the hands-on experience you'll want to turn a few old windows, some lumber and a pair of hinges into a mini-greenhouse for your early Spring crops such as peas, broccoli, collards, lettuce, etc. If you've never seen a cold-frame before, come by to witness a do-it-yourself project that will help to extend your season by a few weeks, with minimal maintenance, and a reasonable investment (less if you can salvage windows and lumber!). This workshop will be conducted mainly indoors, with a brief garden tour, and awareness that some folks are unable to spend too much time outdoors this time of year.
