The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
(ADC) is proud to announce
its Thirty (30) Year Annual National Convention which will be held June 4-6, 2010, at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Road, Washington, DC 20008.
For
the past 30 years, the Arab-American community has gathered in June in
our Nation's Capital to ensure that Arab-Americans and their concerns,
as diverse as those may be, are seen and heard in Washington, DC; and
that Arab culture continues its positive contributions in the colorful

Our Convention's theme this year is: “Thirty Years of Advocacy and Achievement: Strengthening the American Voice for Equality and Justice.” This is the largest American Arab event in Washington, DC. Past ADC National Convention speakers have included: UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, former U.S. Secretaries of State Colin Powell and Warren Christopher, Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, former Senators George Mitchell and Bob Dole; journalists Mike Wallace, Helen Thomas, and Sam Donaldson; and actors Omar Sharif and Tony Shalhoub. At this year’s Convention we will have panels addressing domestic and foreign policy issues, lunches, a gala dinner, receptions, films, and haflehs. Due to the tough economic environment, we have priced our Convention at a low early bird price of $239, which includes all meals.
