"Stop Femicide in Guatelama" with Norma Cruz

On March 4th, internationally recognized advocate and activist, Norma Cruz, will be speaking at American University in the District of Columbia. Norma Cruz has dedicated her life to women who are victims of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and illegal adoptions in Guatemala. She is the 2009 recipient of the "Women of Courage" award, which was presented to her by Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton and First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Norma Cruz, co-founder and director of The Survivor's Foundation in Guatemala City, will address violence against women, impunity for criminals, and steps for the future, in her March 4th presentation "Stop Femicide in Guatemala."
