Imani Countess, Senior Director of Public Affairs at TransAfrica Forum, and Melinda Miles of Konbit Pou Ayiti/KONPAY in Haiti will journey to Port-au-Prince for a two-day conference of Haitian NGO's. The purpose of the conference is to define what civil society and non governmental organizations in Haiti want from the reconstruction efforts. TransAfrica is committed to assuring that the 'new' face of Haiti is one designed by the Haitian people and that it best serve their interests. Join us on Thursday, March 4 and hear about what they learned from the Haitian civil society and the NGO community.
