Former PLO Ambassador to the United States Afif Safieh will offer brief remarks about his new book The Peace Process: From Breakthrough to Breakdown and hold a book signing as well. This is a unique opportunity to pick up a copy of this brand new title which will not be available in bookstores until the fall.

Amb. Afif Safieh was born in Jerusalem in 1950 and is the Roving Ambassador for Special Missions for the PLO and the Fatah Deputy Commissioner for International Relations. He served as Head of Mission in London, Washington and Moscow, as well as in the Holy See and the Netherlands.

The Palestine Center is happy to hold this event in coordination with the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs. Light refreshments will be provided.
