4 days of drumming and prayers. Welcome our troops home. Honor our Vets. Stand for Peace.
We cannot demand Peace, we can only become it. We cannot fight for peace, we can only live it,
We gather with the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers for the healing of the four hoops of life:
ourselves, our families, our communities, our Mother Earth.
We invite the Troops, our Veterans and their families, to call their spirits back from the journeys they have made and the traumas that have been endured. We invite our military personnel past and present to allow themselves to be honored and to act as our protectors during this gathering. We invite Women military personnel and Veteran Women to join us in healing the journey as we come together to acknowledge our truth in our words and embrace our walks as we move forward in life.
The drum is a way for our spirits to speak to each other's hearts. It is a way to connect all Life without creating disagreements. Every living thing has a vibration, a heartbeat. This vibration has the power to heal, transform, raise consciousness in our minds, heal our hearts, activate our bodies, and feed our spirits. We encourage all to participate
in sharing the feminine energies that live in us all.
We want to make everyone aware that Turtle Women Rising Gatherings are a "political free" zone. We ask that you create your intention and prepare yourselves to see what is beyond the ideas and words that keep us apart and divided. We welcome the opportunity to share space with you. We welcome all people to join us in celebration of the drum and we invite you to help us hold this vision with grace and ease, clarity and purpose.
