Dear friends - I want to extend a special invitation to a benefit performance by a talented emerging star named Leah Smith. She is coming from Philadelphia to help me raise money for Village Health Works in Burundi, in recognition of WORLD AIDS DAY. It's only $15 to $50 sliding scale donation at the door, but we'll also pass the hat at the event. Help us make a difference in the lives of people in one of the poorest countries in the world.

Dear MoveOn member,

The fate of President Obama's plan to rebuild the economy isn't going to be decided on Capitol Hill. It'll be decided in communities and neighborhoods all across the country.

Two Things, one peace oriented

A: Berpanike wants to buy $300B in T-Bills. T-bills is normally how the Fed borrows money. So what happens when the Fed is it's own lender? They PRINT THE MONEY.

This is what I've feared for a while. Think you miss the Constitution? Wait 'til they Zimbabwe-fy the US dollar. That is what today's announcement means.

B: I believe my Tune "We Will Not Miss War", which Start Loving named, BTW, is on topic here at WPC. CHeck it out at www.youtube.com/presidentbyamendment  .

Chief NBC politico can't tell deficit from debt

Yesterday on CSPAN (radio, delayed a couple days) the chief political analyst for NBC was speaking, like he knows something, to local legislators. His remarks suggested that he thought that the budget surpluses under Clinton erased our then-$6,000,000,000,000,000 Bush-Reagan National Debt. I don't believe I have to spell out to WPC readers what that says about the press, and the US.

CHINA does feel they have something to spell out to Obama. They do not want to lend him the money for his pimpmobile agenda. Please leave the word "pimpmobile" in this post. I DO give remarks like that a lot of thought.
