AFSCME Councils 20 and 26 proudly present "Digging Where We Stand: Uncovering Our Own Local Labor Histories" featuring a unique exploration of a century of library union history at the Library of Congress and the District of Columbia Public Library.

Join AFSCME Local 1808 President Anntoinette White-Richardson and librarian and AFSCME Local 2910 Steward Director David Fernández-Barrial --and others-- for a lively exploration of the local history of workers providing library and information services which are vital to the existence and functioning of a democratic republic, both at the local and the federal level. May 10th at 6PM at the Northeast Neighborhood Library (330  7th St. NE Washington,D.C. 20002) - the oldest publicly funded library in the District.
