A grief support group – healing space for survivors (moms, dads and persons in general) who has lost a child or loved one to police brutality and/or gun violence and anyone who is dealing with the emotional pain associated with grief over the loss of a loved one.

In this space, folks are encouraged to share their stories to edify, encourage and empower one another; learn and discuss the stages of grief, and have a dialogue with a panel of moms/resources to learn how they turned their "PAIN into POWER."

"As a parent, who has not so long lost my only son to police brutality, I understand and also experience the loneliness, emptiness, frustration, anger and the never ending cycle of the pain from grieving over the loss of losing my son to police brutality. I now try to live for the both of us and be his voice in the earth by becoming a community activist mobilizing and organizing against police brutality and intra-community violence.

I know all too well the importance and comfort of being in the same space of other grieving persons; identifying with one another struggles and drawing from each others strength, love and support."

Optional: Bring a framed photo of your loved one. I will be displaying a table of photos "Stolen Lives - Never Forgotten, Forever Loved.  For further information, please feel free to contact me at
